(Kimberly Tucker (615) 942-5440 * icwstone.org * k4real_2000@yahoo.com
I.C. White Stone Foundation hosted the first annual Black Marriage Day Marriage Hall of Fame held at Eastside Church of Christ. The church is located at 2518 Gallatin Rd. It was held on March 25, 2007 from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
The Black Marriage Day - Marriage Hall of Fame is a heart-felt effort to recognize and awaken in others, the importance and significance of marriage in the African-American community. We seek to honor those couples who are leading by example by holding their marriages together. We celebrate those whose enduring bond inspires us. Who better to model the divine way in which God intended children be raised to their children than single mothers. Children need both their mothers and their fathers, says Kimberly Tucker the President & Executive Director.

I.C. White Stone Foundation is issuing a call for Black Marriage Day - Marriage Hall of Fame nominations. Three married couples will be selected as honorees for the Black Marriage Day - Marriage Hall of Fame. We will also recognize a fourth couple as our newlyweds of the year.
During the March 2008 Black Marriage Day celebration, the chosen couples will be recognized, honored, and immortalized through song, prose, and prayer for their distinguished examples as married couples.
