Lacrecia Roberts a graduate of Maplewood High School in Nashville brings to us a wealth of knowledge and a eclectic array of experiences. She attended classes at TSU’s school of Dentistry and Nashville State Community College school of Business.

1987 moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan with high school sweetheart and attended Eastern Michigan University and Washtenaw Community College.

1989 moving back to Nashville without high school sweetheart and now pregnant. Being a young single parent, working and in school, stayed the course to graduate with an Associate Degree in 1992 from Nashville State Community College in Applied Science in Business Management and a Bachelors Degree from Middle Tennessee State University in University Studies in 1997.

1997 to 2003 employed with Transcender Corp & Transcender LLC Software Company.

2004 - 2006 helped co-found a music business administration company called SMASH Enterprise Inc., and became a Davidson County Certified Resource Parent, and employed with S.A.G. Entertainment.

2005 affiliation began with I.C. White Stone Foundation.  

Lacrecia’s diverse exposure is the pioneering element needed as the Director of Youth Programming. She believes in exposing youth early to the concept of college. Plays at TPAC, visits to the zoo, Frist, ballet and dance are not just ideas but a way of life for her son that she plans to institute with other youth being raised in single parent homes. Her son Daniel currently attends Hume Fogg Magnet School has performed twice at TPAC, takes lessons in dance & music, and can communicate in three languages.
